Nationals Purchase Jorge Padilla's Contract

All Star Group would like to announce that the Washington Nationals have purchased the contract of outfielder Jorge Padilla. Jorge will be looking to make his major league debut tonight when the Nationals face the Florida Marlins.

The callup comes at a time when Jorge was leading all full-season minor leaguers in hitting at .367. Batting mostly from the leadoff spot for the Syracuse Chiefs, Jorge also amassed a .424 on-base percentage, .482 slugging, and sixteen bases in his ninety-five games with the Nationals' Triple-A affiliate.
