ASG Clients Listed in 2009 Prospect Handbook

All Star Group is proud to announce that twenty-seven of the firm's clients were listed in the 2009 Baseball America Prospect Handbook. Twelve of the twenty-seven were selected among their organization's top thirty prospects. The remaining fifteen were included in their club's depth chart, which lists each team's top prospects by position.

The top 30 selections were led by Cincinnati Reds' power hitting thirdbase prospect Neftali Soto. Soto ranked as the Reds' seventh top prospect after a year in which he hit over .350 with eleven homeruns and forty-seven RBI in sixty-six games.

The other ASG clients listed among their club's top thirty prospects are Reynaldo Navarro (Diamondbacks - 10th), Stolmy Pimentel (Red Sox - 11th), Jairo Heredia (Yankees - 12th), Rafael Rodriguez (Angels - 15th), Ruben Tejada (Mets - 16th), Leyson Septimo (Diamondbacks - 26th), Luis Atilano (Nationals - 27th), Luis Montanez (Orioles - 29th), Abraham Almonte (Yankees - 30th), Luis Cruz (Astros - 30th), and Hainley Statia (Angels - 30th).

The ASG clients listed in their team's depth chart are Adam Milligan (Braves), Miguel Negron (White Sox), Jose Castro (Reds), Helder Velazquez (Rockies), Brad Coon (Angels), Charlie Fermaint (Brewers), Martin Maldonado (Brewers), Donovan Hand (Brewers), Danny Ortiz (Twins), Emmanuel Garcia (Mets), Bengie Gonzalez (Pirates), Eric Fornataro (Reds), Emmanuel Quiles (Padres), Pedro Strop (Rangers), and Antonio Jimenez (Blue Jays).
