Pimentel Named Red Sox' Tenth Top Prospect

All Star Group would like to congratulate client Stolmy Pimentel for being named the Red Sox' tenth top prospect by Baseball America.

In 2008 Pimentel made his stateside debut pitching with the Lowell Spinners of the NY-Penn League. As one of the circuit's youngest players at age 18, Pimentel showed control and poise beyond his years. In thirteen games with the Spinners Stolmy finished with a 5-2 record and 3.14 ERA. Pimentel also struck out almost a batter per inning, while limiting opposing hitters to a .224 batting average against. His performace garnered him a berth on the NY-Penn All Star game.
