Angels Place Rafael Rodriguez on 40-Man Roster

All Star Group client Rafael Rodriguez has just been added to the Los Angeles Angels of Aneheim's 40-Man roster. Rodriguez was set to become a minor league free agent after the World Series until the announcement.

In 2008 Rodriguez had a breakout year as the closer for Double-A Arkansas. With the Travelers Rodriguez pitched in forty-two games finishing with eleven saves and forty-eight strikeouts in just over fifty-three innings.

Rodriguez is expected to compete for a bullpen spot with the Angels' parent club during spring training 2009.
