Orioles' Oscar Salazar Joins All Star Group

All Star Group would like to announce the signing of Baltimore Orioles' firstbaseman Oscar Salazar to a full representation agreement. A member of the Orioles' 40-Man roster, Salazar has split time this season with the parent club and its Triple-A affiliate, the Norfolk Tides.

In his brief stint in the Majors this year Oscar has four hits in seventeen at-bats, two of those hits being homeruns. With the Tides, Salazar has had an all star year, batting .314 in 110 games. Oscar is also the team leader with thirteen homeruns, eighty-three RBI and a .513 slugging percentage.

Salazar is expected to be promoted to the majors again once rosters are expanded on September 1st.
